Herbs

Without the aromatic fresh herbs, traditional dishes would lose its essence. Fresh herbs provide the best flavor to soups, salads, stews, sauces, and even desserts.
Some common culinary herbs are basil, parsley, bay or laurel, dill, oregano, rosemary and thyme.
Growing herbs in your home or garden is a relaxing and rewarding experience.
The herbs that I grow in my garden are: thyme, rosemary, flat-leaf parsley, basil, sage, cilantro, mint, chives, dill.

Healthy Tips

The more we know, the better choices we can make.

*Drink water instead of sweet drinks containing large amounts of sugar.
*Buy whole wheat bread instead of white bread, brown rice instead of white rice, you are getting fibre and nutrients.
*Make sure you get dark green vegetables at least twice a day:Bok choy, broccoli, kale, they are excellent source of vitamin c, vitamin k, calcium, antioxidants, etc.
*Meal planning can help you buy only what you need and you'll save money.
